8 fluorescent tube lights plug into a standard computer keyboard to display computer ASCII in binary as you type.

This is the most simple possible computer display.

An ordinary computer display shows text after a series of complex data transformations that happen hidden inside computers. This display truncates human language at the point of computer language and reveals computer language at human scale. What remains is the the unfamiliar, yet genuine codified semantic that hides behind everyday human language.
